What Successful Founders Delegate (And What They Don’t)

Not sure what to outsource? In this post, I break down what successful founders hand off to me (and what they keep doing themselves). This helps business owners delegate with confidence and avoid burnout.

I work with business owners at all stages, and I’ve noticed something: the most successful ones know what to delegate.

They don’t try to do everything. They stay in their zone — and let me handle the rest.

What They Usually Delegate

  • Inbox management

  • Social media scheduling

  • Client onboarding

  • Calendar organisation

  • File and folder cleanups

  • Formatting content (blogs, newsletters, etc.)

  • Posting podcasts or videos

  • Research and admin

What They Usually Keep

  • Sales calls

  • Final decision-making

  • Content creation ideas

  • High-level strategy

  • Personal client communication (but I often help draft it!)

It’s not about giving away control. It’s about getting the support you need so you can lead.

If you’ve been trying to do it all, maybe it’s time to take a cue from the CEOs who’ve figured out the balance.

I’d love to support you, too.
